Silver also known as fine silver is a precious metal and consists of 99.9% pure silver. Sterling silver will be marked 925 which represents that it is 92.5% silver and 7.5% of a different metal. Sterling silver adds additional metal(s) to make it more durable.

Spot represents the value of the precious metal alone based on 1 oz. Bullion coins will get you closer to the spot pricing. There are many contributing factors that increases the value of a coin (e.g., grading, errors, year, government issued, design imprinted on the coin, etc.).

The mint varies for the different coins and are indicated on the coin.

Other coins and gold foils may be available that are not listed on the website. The intention of the website is to provide a sampling of variety offered. Goldbacks are different from gold foil notes and are legal tender and currently available in Utah, Nevada, New Hampshire, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Florida. There may be more states added as interest gains from other states to be included.
